What Does RYT Certification Mean?
All instructors at Performance Evolution hold the Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential through Yoga Alliance, a national governing body for yoga instruction.
Minimum of 200 hours of training across anatomy, alignment, philosophy, and teaching
Advanced instructors may hold 500-hour certifications
All instructors complete continuing education annually to ensure safe, modern, and intelligent teaching
This is our commitment to delivering thoughtful, qualified movement guidance every time you walk into class.
What’s the difference between group classes and private sessions?
Group classes offer a guided experience with weekly variations and whole-body benefits.
Private sessions are personalized 1-on-1 or partner sessions designed to target specific concerns, injuries, or goals.
If you want accountability, alignment feedback, or a long-term plan, private sessions are ideal.
What makes these classes different from some other yoga studios?
Our approach is alignment-based and wellness-driven—not achievement-based.
Every class is taught by certified instructors trained in anatomy and functional movement.
Classes are intentionally structured to support mobility, posture, strength, and recovery. This is yoga designed to feel good and do good.
Can I come to yoga if I’ve never done it before?
Absolutely. Our classes are designed to be beginner-friendly while still challenging for experienced movers.
We offer guidance for all levels and focus on how movement feels—not what it looks like.
Do I need to be flexible to join a class?
Not at all. Our classes are designed for real bodies with real tension.
You don’t need to touch your toes—you just need to show up.
We’ll help you build flexibility, strength, and awareness at your pace.
Can I join if I’m recovering from an injury or finishing physical therapy?
Yes! Our classes are ideal for individuals transitioning out of rehab or looking to regain confidence in movement.
If you have more specific concerns, we recommend starting with a private session to get customized support.
What should I bring or wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Bring a yoga mat and water. We provide blocks, bolster, straps, blankets (and a mat!). But you are welcome to bring your own.
